Peer Mentorship Programme

Peer Mentorship Programme

Your university journey is full of exciting firsts, and our mentors are here to help you make the most of every one of them. From mastering undergraduate studies to finding your way around campus, having someone who’s already walked the path makes the transition much easier. That’s exactly what our Peer Mentorship Programme offers, connecting you with experienced senior students who understand exactly what the transition into pursuing an undergraduate degree feels like.

More Than Just Support

We connect you with students who’ve been exactly where you are, to help you settle into university life, manage your time, and navigate everything from campus resources to policies and wellbeing.

Whether you need help decoding tricky subject areas, adjusting to the workload, or simply want someone to point you in the right direction, your mentor is there, every step of the way.

Gain Recognition for Your Contribution

Once you have successfully completed your first year of study you will have the opportunity to be a Peer Mentor yourself. As a Peer Mentor, your contribution to the university community is formally recognised through digital badges and certificates. Issued through the Accredible platform, these verifiable digital credentials showcase the leadership, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills you develop through your role.

Your digital credential can be added to your CV, LinkedIn profile, and other professional platforms, allowing you to demonstrate your co-curricular achievements to future employers and professional networks. By becoming a Peer Mentor, you not only support fellow students and contribute to a positive learning community, but also build valuable skills and gain formal recognition that can strengthen your professional profile and future employability
