The Bachelor of Forensic Science programme immerses students in the captivating realm of criminal investigation and scientific scrutiny. With a curriculum featuring pivotal courses such as Forensic Biology, Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Data Analysis, and Forensic Chemistry, students acquire handson expertise in evidence gathering and evaluation. Graduates emerge prepared for a spectrum of professions including forensic analyst, crime scene investigator, and laboratory technician, poised to play vital roles in law enforcement agencies, government entities, and forensic laboratories.
At Royal Institute of Colombo, students are given the opportunity to pursue the first year of their degree in Sri Lanka, all from the comfort of their home, saving substantial costs. RIC ensures a smooth transition to Deakin Australia to complete the final two years.
- Applicant must hold at least 7 points* (from a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 A/L subjects) at Advanced Level (National) or 6 points* (from a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 A/L subjects) at Advanced Level (London) in the science stream.
