The Islamic Society is a space that brings students together — not only Muslim students, but people from different communities, cultures, and faiths across the university.
While our activities are rooted in Islamic traditions and values, we believe these experiences are even more meaningful when shared. Throughout the year, we create opportunities for students to connect, learn from one another, and take part in experiences that strengthen the sense of community around us.
Our year begins with the Annual General Meeting, where we reflect on the highlights and achievements of the year gone by and look forward to what lies ahead. As Ramadan approaches, our Pre-Ramadan Fair brings students together in celebration before the month of fasting begins.
During Ramadan, our Iftar gathering offers another special opportunity to share a meal, experience a part of Islamic tradition, and spend meaningful time together. Towards the end of the year, we come together for a charity project, putting our shared spirit of compassion into action and supporting those who need it.
For us, these are more than events. They are moments made meaningful by the people who come together, participate, support one another, and create memories along the way. We believe that when people come together with openness and kindness, even simple moments can leave a lasting impact.
