Press Club of RIC

The Press Club of RIC is a student-led club dedicated to capturing, creating, and sharing the experiences that make university life memorable. From covering RIC events and producing engaging digital content to organising our own events, initiatives, and fundraisers, we bring together creativity, teamwork, and communication.

As the club is responsible for much of RIC’s event coverage and student-focused content, we aim to keep the university community connected while giving students opportunities to develop skills in photography, videography, design, writing, marketing, public relations, and event management.

The Press Club also plays a very important role in organizing the main event of an undergraduates Uni-life experience; RIC’s major annual tradition, The Annual Graduation Ball. By allowing students of all years to show their skills through organizing fundraising and planning, the Graduation Ball comes alive. Although it is open to all, this specifically marks the end of a journey and a birth of a new one for all students graduating from RIC.

Whether we are behind the camera, planning an event, creating content, or working behind the scenes, the Press Club of RIC is a team that makes student life at RIC much more than just getting a degree, but also making their experience much more memorable.
