UK Foundation Programme Welcomes Batch 2 at Inauguration Ceremony
The UK Foundation Programme proudly welcomed its second intake of students at the Batch 2 Inauguration Ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting new academic journey for the incoming cohort.
The event commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an inspiring address by Ms. Madusha Jayasena, Head of Academic Affairs & Chief Academic Coordinator Cum Lecturer – Faculty of Law, setting an encouraging tone for the students embarking on their studies.
Students from Batch 1 played an active and heartfelt role throughout the ceremony, taking charge of the welcome speech, the vote of thanks, and serving as masters of ceremonies. They also shared valuable advice and insights drawn from their own academic journey, offering words of encouragement and guidance to the new cohort as they begin their own path.
Adding a personal and memorable touch to the occasion, the incoming students recorded short video messages to their future selves, messages they will revisit a year from now to reflect on their growth, milestones, and achievements throughout the academic year.
We wish Batch 2 every success in the year ahead!
