From London to Colombo: University of London Associate Deans Share Expertise at RIC

Ms Lisa Kidger and Ms Sarah Henderson, Associate Deans of the Undergraduate Laws programme of the University of London visited Royal Institute Campus and conducted a series of informative and engaging sessions for both students and lecturers.

On 14 February 2026, Associate Dean Ms Lisa Kidger delivered a session for students focusing on study skills and effective use of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The session provided practical guidance on how students can maximize the resources available to them and develop strategies to support their academic success. Following this, she also conducted an engaging session for lecturers for the LLB programme on exam preparation, sharing valuable insights and best practices to support teaching and assessment.

On 19 February 2026, Associate Dean Ms Sarah Henderson conducted a subject-specific lecture for first-year students, focusing on the area of human rights law. The lecture offered students an opportunity to deepen their understanding of key concepts within the subject while also hearing first-hand perspectives from the Associate Dean of Assessments from the University of London.

Overall, the visit was highly informative and engaging, providing both students and lecturers with valuable academic insights and the unique opportunity to interact directly with delegates from the University of London.
