The Bachelor of Science programme presents a comprehensive journey through the natural sciences, encompassing biology, chemistry, physics, geography, and mathematics. Students dive deep into fundamental principles and methodologies, blending hands-on laboratory work with theoretical study to cultivate critical thinking and analytical prowess. Equipped with this versatile skill set, graduates embark on diverse career paths in research, education, healthcare, environmental science, and technology, poised to make significant contributions to society’s understanding and progress in the realm of science.

At Royal Institute of Colombo, students are given the opportunity to pursue the first year of their degree in Sri Lanka, all from the comfort of their home, saving substantial costs. RIC ensures a smooth transition to Deakin Australia to complete the final two years.

  • Applicant must hold at least 7 points* (from a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 A/L subjects) at Advanced Level (National) or 6 points* (from a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 A/L subjects) at Advanced Level (London) in the science stream.
  • Students who do not meet this requirement, refer page 28
