RIC Deakin Engineering Students Visit to DPL Glove Manufacturing Factory

The students of RIC Deakin Engineering program, together with RIC Young Environmentalist Challenge 2025 competition participants of RI Maharagama, visited an Automated Glove Manufacturing Factory operated by Dipped Products PLC, a member of the Hayleys Group.
This engaging field visit provided students with a comprehensive overview of automated glove production, highlighting advanced manufacturing technologies, process automation systems, and quality control mechanisms in operation. Students were able to observe each stage of the production line and understand the integration of machinery and automated processes. They also gained valuable insight into workplace safety standards, industrial compliance requirements, and the company’s research and development initiatives, offering meaningful exposure to real-world engineering applications within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
