MindMath 2026: A New Chapter in the Spring of Wisdom Inter-School Competition Series

For the first time in the history of the annual Spring of Wisdom Inter-School Competition series, a dedicated Mathematics edition, MindMath 2026, was introduced this year, marking an exciting new addition to RIC’s flagship schools’ competition.

The competition was held across three rounds, with the Semi-Finals and Grand Finale taking place on 23rd July 2026. The Grand Finale was the highlight of the event, featuring a specially designed ‘Battle Royale’ question crafted by our Chairman, Mr G. T. Bandara, which put the finalists’ mathematical thinking and composure under pressure to the ultimate test.

After a fiercely contested Finale, the results were as follows:

• 🥇 Champions: Vidura College – Team Grad
• 🥈 Runners-Up: Lyceum International School, Panadura – The Constants Team
• 🥉 Third Place: Ilma International Girls School – Team Radicals

Congratulations to all participating schools and teams for their outstanding display of mathematical talent, teamwork and determination. MindMath 2026 has set a strong benchmark for future editions of the Spring of Wisdom series, and we look forward to welcoming even more schools to the competition next year.
