Royal Institute Colombo (RIC) proudly celebrates the recipients of the (Econ, Management, Finance and Social Sciences) EMFSS Academic Awards for the 2023/2024 academic year. This year, RIC secured an impressive 37 awards from the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), underscoring the exceptional performance of our students and the unwavering dedication of our lecturers.

We are also proud to announce an outstanding student pass rate of 87.7% at RIC surpassing the global student average pass rate. With LSE ranked sixth globally for Social Science and Management in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, we continue to benefit from their academic direction for our University of London awarded Economics, Management, Finance, and Social Science (EMFSS) degrees.

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) serves as the academic direction provider for the EMFSS degrees offered by the University of London at Royal Institute of Colombo. Ranked as the top university in London and sixth in the world for Social Science and Management subjects in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, LSE is renowned for its excellence in education.

The academic direction for our University of London awarded degrees is provided by prestigious institutions, including the London School of Economics and Political Science, University College London, and King’s College London, all ranked among the top 50 universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2024. Academic Achievement Awards
This award recognizes students with outstanding results in their degree or diploma programs. Recipients receive a cash prize, a certificate, and a letter from LSE in recognition of their achievements. In 2024, each recipient will be awarded £160.
