June 13, 2025 – The Royal Institute of Colombo (RIC) successfully hosted its highly anticipated Career Fair 2025 today, an event meticulously organized to bridge the crucial gap between academia and industry. Held at the Royal Institute of Colombo, the fair provided RIC students with unparalleled direct access to top employers, valuable internship placements, and essential professional exposure.

The primary objective of the RIC Career Fair 2025 was to empower students with insightful career guidance, facilitate the building of robust professional networks, and ultimately create clear pathways for future employment. The enthusiastic participation of both students and leading companies underscored the critical importance of such initiatives in today’s competitive job market.

The event saw an impressive turnout of 130 participants, reflecting the keen interest among RIC students to explore diverse career opportunities and connect with potential employers.

A wide array of esteemed companies from various sectors participated in the fair, keen to engage with RIC’s talented student body. The participating organizations included:

The participant breakdown demonstrated a diverse representation of students from across RIC’s esteemed programs, highlighting the broad appeal and relevance of the career fair to various academic disciplines. Students from the following programs were actively engaged:

  • EMFSS (Economics, Management, Finance and Social Sciences)

  • Law (LLB)

  • Psychology

  • Deakin

Feedback from the participating companies was overwhelmingly positive. A representative from HNB lauded the quality and diversity of the student body, stating:

“We have been very happy with the quality of students that come and different degrees that the institute offers.”

This sentiment reflects the high regard in which RIC graduates are held within the industry.
